In the dream, I was walking down a dirt road that led onto a bridge. The sun was shining over the emerald green grassy hills. I was walking toward a river when I came upon an elderly gentleman, his face weathered, standing behind a table on the side of the road.

As I approached, I noticed that he had arranged on the table incredibly colored jewelry. The jewelry was of fine silver and gold with colorful glowing enamels set into each piece of beautiful jewelry.

The dream came to me before I started to enamel...so when people ask me how I began enameling and how long I have been making art, I tell them I am following my dream and I started before I was born to my parents."
