| Metamorphosis VIII, Endurance, the Tree Lady, is from a recurring theme in my work years ago. The tree to me means endurance, to stand through storms, baking sun, wind, rain, snow and then in the spring bear new leaves and grow fruit which will bear the seeds of future off-spring. Women are like the tree. They endure the hardships of life and blossom and bear the fruit of children, to enable the species to endure. | ||||||||||
